- Early Voting is October 15th-October 31st.
- You can vote by mail or in person.
- You must be registered to vote!
- You do NOT need a photo ID to vote in the election.

In order to vote in person or by mail, you must be registered to vote at your CURRENT address. If you have a North Carolina drivers license or ID issued by the DMV, you can register to vote online.
If your address has changed since you last registered (moved houses, moved apartments, or moved residence halls), we encourage you to update your voter registration before the deadline (October 10th).

Voting in Person
Early Voting: October 15-October 31
- You can vote at any early voting site in your county.
- You can update your voter registration or same-day register during early voting.
Election Day: November 3rd
- You can not update your voter registration or same-day register on Election Day.
If you requested an absentee ballot, you can still vote in-person, but if you do, you can not cast your absentee ballot.
Voting by Mail
In North Carolina, any registered voter has the right to vote by mail for any reason if they choose to do so.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is 5:00pm, October 27th.
Absentee ballots must be postmarked on or before November 3rd and must be received by November 6th.
Absentee ballots must be delivered by hand by 5:00pm, November 3rd.
