November 6, 2018 – Voters came out in force in support of Ray, and he is now the new Representative for NC House District 93!
The High Country Press has the victory breakdown by the numbers and some great photos, but also reminds us that while Ray and other Democrats swept elections, the fight for good policy and representatives isn’t finished.
The News and Observer highlights the shattering of the supermajority in North Carolina and Ray’s part in making that happen.
October 25, 2018 – The Watauga Democrat reported that illegal dark money is flowing in support of the incumbent and against Ray. That’s because when Ray goes to the NC House, he’ll work for the people of Watauga and Ashe counties, not special interests.
October 25, 2018 – The High Country Press covers the Ray at the Meet the Candidates Forum. Ray made his case for improving education, healthcare and the environment.
October 12, 2018 – Ray Russell outlined discussed healthcare in North Carolina as part of a discussion forum in Ashe County. Ray wrote a prescription for improving health services to all North Carolinians.

September 25, 2018 – The Appalachian attends Ray’s Education Summit at Appalachian Ski Mountain and highlights his commitment to quality education in North Carolina.
